ETB Membership
Parents’ Associations in ETB schools, including Community National Schools, can become members of the National Parents Council.
ETB membership fees are paid centrally by the relevant ETB, so your school does not need to make an individual membership payment.
You will still need to complete a membership form each year to register or renew your Parents’ Association’s membership with NPC.
How ETB Membership Works
1. Complete your membership form
Choose to complete the ETB Membership Form online or download and return a paper copy.
2. No payment is required from your school
ETB membership fees are managed centrally through your Education and Training Board.
3. Renew each year
NPC membership runs from 1 January to 31 December. Your Parents’ Association needs to complete the ETB Membership Form annually to renew its membership.
Before You Start
You’ll need the following information to complete the form:

Whether you are applying for new membership or renewing an existing membership

Your NPC Delegate’s name and contact details
-
Your school roll number
-
The number of pupils in your school
-
Your school name, county and postal address
-
Whether your school is Primary, Post-Primary or a Special School
The ETB form asks for all of those details.
What is an NPC Delegate?
Your NPC Delegate is the named parent who represents your Parents’ Association in matters relating to NPC membership and acts as the main point of contact between NPC and your Parents’ Association.
Keeping in touch with NPC
As part of the membership form, your NPC Delegate can choose how NPC contacts them and which types of information they would like to receive, including NPC events, surveys and notices, and information relating to Early Years, Primary and Post-Primary education.
The ETB form contains those individual consent options.
ETB Membership is renewed annually
NPC membership runs from 1 January to 31 December each year.
Even though ETB membership fees are paid centrally, each Parents’ Association must complete its membership form every year in order to register or renew its membership with NPC.
