Supporting parents in your school community
NPC provides information sessions for parents across Early Years, Primary and Post-Primary, offering practical information, guidance and support on topics that matter to parents and their children.
Alongside our scheduled online sessions, schools and Parents’ Associations can request an information session specifically for the parents in their own school or setting.
Sessions are delivered by experienced NPC facilitators and provide parents with practical information and an opportunity to explore the topic, ask questions and consider how they can support their children.
Information sessions available
NPC provides information sessions on a range of topics throughout the year. These include areas such as:
Anti-Bullying
Helping parents understand bullying, recognise the signs and support their child if they are affected by bullying.
Internet Safety
Supporting parents to understand the online world their children are navigating and providing practical ways to encourage safer and more positive online experiences.
Transitions
Helping parents support their child through important transitions in their education, including starting primary school and moving from primary to post-primary school.
Supporting Learning and Wellbeing
Practical information and approaches to help parents support their child's learning, confidence and wellbeing at home and throughout their education.
The information sessions available may vary across Early Years, Primary and Post-Primary.
Who can request an information session?
Information sessions can be requested by schools, Early Years settings and Parents’ Associations for the parents in their community.
Whether there is a particular issue you would like to support parents with or you simply want to provide parents with useful information and practical guidance, you can submit a request to NPC.
How does it work?
Complete the request form below and tell us about your school or setting and the information session you are interested in.
Once we receive your request, a member of the NPC team will contact you to discuss the session, your requirements and the available options.
Submitting a request does not automatically confirm an information session. NPC will contact you to confirm the arrangements.
