National Parents Council Primary is making a “living memory montage” of primary school-aged children’s experiences of Covid-19 and their hopes for the future.
We are inviting children to share their experiences of the Covid-19 pandemic, restrictions, school closures, and their hopes as we move forward. Children can choose how they want to share this with us; they could write down their thoughts, write a story or poem, send photographs, paint or draw pictures, dance, write a song or music, record a video or a short voice clip - it’s completely up to them!
Children are invited to tell us about their year however they like, but we’ve included some questions that might give them some ideas.
- What have the schools closing and other restrictions been like for you?
- How did you feel when your school closed? How do you feel now that you’re back at school?
- What has been the best part of the restrictions? Is there any part you’d like to keep?
- What has been the worst part of the restrictions?
- What are you excited about doing now?
- What are your hopes for the future?
