The Regional Assembly is a vibrant and exciting part of NPC where parents can network with other parents and have their voice heard about educational issues that are important to them. The morning session of a Regional Assembly involves a presentation on the topic being discussed on the day.
Parents will get a chance to ask questions and explore the topic. Lunch is provided for all parents followed by an afternoon session where parents are consulted about the topic and get the opportunity to give their feedback and point of view. This means that when NPC speaks on behalf of parents it can do so knowing that the issues have been well considered and debated.
Yes – All NPC Regional events are open to all parents. This means that you can choose whichever location is most convenient for you.
Yes – All parents are welcome to attend the morning session of a Regional Assembly.
The afternoon consultation is reserved for NPC members.
If you are not a member of NPC, we operate a ‘Two Free Pass’ system where two parents from your school can attend the afternoon consultation of one Assembly as a trial. If you are not a member of NPC but are interested in attending the full day, get in touch to see if you can avail of a free pass for the afternoon.
If the Parents’ Association in your school is a member of NPC, it automatically makes all parents in your school entitled to attend our events. You can check with your Parents’ Association Committee to see if they are a member of NPC, or give NPC a call on 01-8874034 to check.
