When are standardised tests done?

Typically, standardised tests are conducted in May for 2nd, 4th and 6th class students in English and Maths.

What supports exist for
additional needs?

Speak to your child’s teacher first if you have concerns. You can also contact the National Council for Special Education for support.

What should I do if my child is
being bullied in school?

Speak to your child’s teacher first. If the problem continues, ask for the school’s anti-bullying policy and check that the correct procedures are being followed.
