Service Description
A programme delivered by National Parents Council and funded by the Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy Programme. Following on from Part 1 of our RSE three-part programme, this session explores active listening skills and how communication can strengthen relationships and support conversations with your child. As children move through the post-primary years, conversations can sometimes feel shorter, more guarded, or harder to navigate. This session will help parents develop practical communication skills to support connection, trust and healthy relationships. This session will explore: • Active listening skills • Supporting meaningful conversations • Building trust and communication • Strengthening your relationship with your child This session is ideally suited to parents who have completed Part 1, but it also works as a stand-alone session. Sessions take place online via Zoom during the week of 18th May 2026.
