Parents’ Associations have never been more important than they are now!
As children have returned to their schools and we start to emerge from our COVID restrictions, Parents’ Associations (PA) have a vital role in supporting schools and supporting children to recover.
The National Parents Council Primary are here to support you in every step of what is a very different environment.
- Guidance, advice and training is available to support the operation of your PA
- Ideas about what you can do and how to do them
- Online live PA clinics to support you and help you network withother PAs
Although much has changed, much has remained the same.
Support and communication is by far the strongest and most important role for the PA at this time.
The key principles of operating a PA remain the same as ever:
- To support and empower all parents in the schools to be active in the best interests of their children’s education.
- To work in partnership with the principal, Board of Management(BOM) and the whole school.
