The Department of Social Protection is reviewing the School Meals Programme. The School Meals Programme provides some of the funding used to supply food to 1506 schools and organisations, reaching 230,000 children across Ireland. The focus of the School Meals Programme is to provide regular, nutritious food to children so that they can take full advantage of their education.

National Parents Council Primary have been invited to give feedback on behalf of parents. Whether your child currently receives food through the school meals programme or not your opinion is important to help us so that we can reflect your views regarding what should be available under the programme in the future. We would therefore appreciate if you could take a few minutes to participate in our survey.

Please note the survey will close at 10am on Tuesday the 7th of June 2022
