NPC is the only national recognised representative organisation for parents of children in early years, primary and post primary education. NPC exists to ensure that all parents are supported and empowered to become effective partners in their children’s education.

NPC also works on behalf of parents with organisations such as the Ombudsman for Children, the Irish Primary Principals’ Network (IPPN), the National Association of Principals and Deputy Principals (NAPD), the School Management Bodies, the Professional Development Service for Teachers (PDST) and more.
