The Minister for Education and Skills, Joe McHugh, T.D. has asked the NCSE to advise on how best to educate students who currently enrol in special schools and classes.

The NCSE is seeking the views of parents, students, people with disabilities, educators and other educational partners and stakeholders on:

• How to best move forward in the education of students currently being educated in special schools and classes?

Following this extended consultation the NCSE will finalise their advice for submission to the Minister by end June 2020.

The closing date for the survey is the 24th January 2020.
