National Early Learning and Childcare Agency Consultations

Dear Parents and Parental Representatives,

The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth are excited to announce the upcoming stakeholder consultations organized by the National Early Learning and Childcare Agency. These consultations will take place in various locations including Cork, Mullingar, Dublin, Galway, Kilkenny, and Cavan from 20 May to 5 June 2024.

The aim of these consultations is to engage with a wide range of stakeholders involved in early years education. Your views and insights are invaluable to us as we strive to ensure that the agency’s functions reflect the needs and perspectives of all stakeholders.

As a representative voice for parents, the National Parents Council (NPC) plays an essential role in this process. We are therefore reaching out to the NPC network of parents and parental representatives to participate in these consultations.

Your participation will help The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth design an agency that benefits children and their families, service providers, practitioners, and educators. We look forward to your valuable contributions.
