In Memory of Damian Murray

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the death of Damian Murray, former Director of the National Parents Council (NPC). Damian served as Director from the 3rd of October 2015 to the 25th of March 2022 and throughout his tenure, he was a tireless advocate for parents, children, and the education community. His leadership and unwavering commitment to supporting parents in their vital role in education had a profound impact on our work and the wider community.

Damian was a compassionate and dedicated Director who worked relentlessly to ensure that the voices of parents were heard, respected, and supported. His legacy will live on in the ongoing efforts to empower and support parents across Ireland.

Our thoughts are with Damian’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
