How to make a Sock Bunny

To make sock bunnies you will need:

• a small sock
• felt
• pom poms
• moveable eyes
• ribbon
• clear rubber bands
• rice
• Glue (not a glue stick)

 

Stage 1

Fill your sock with about a cup of rice, depending on the size of your sock. Tie clear rubber bands twice to create a head, one on the neck and one on top of the head, just like this ……

Stage 2

Cut a piece of felt or material to create a “belly” for the bunny, Glue onto the sock

Stage 3

Glue eyes & teeth – This is a square piece of felt or material cut down the middle to make it look like teeth), Stick a pom pom on the back for the tail, and a nose (small triangle piece of felt or material). Tie a bow around the sock bunny.

Stage 4

Cut the top of the sock in half to create ears on the sock bunny. Snip off the corners to make the ears slightly rounded.
