The four year term of office for the current boards of management of all primary schools will come to an end on 30 November 2023 and the changeover to new Boards will take place from 1 December 2023.

The Department of Education circular Circular 0049/2023 (published on 21 September 2023) informs primary school authorities that the updated Governance Manual for Primary Schools 2023 – 2027 has been published following consultation with the education partners.
