Much has changed in the 21 years since NPC was established. Over a period of several years there has been very wide consultation with parents on how the organisation could best meet their needs in today’s Ireland and in the future.

A new NPC Board was elected at our EGM on the 14th November 2008. The first meeting of the new Board took place on the 5th December 2008, at which our new Chairperson and Vice Chairperson were elected.

The Special Interest Groups will be comprised of nominees from groups who represent parents of children with special educational needs who attend special schools and mainstream schools, and parents of children who attend Minority Religion schools, Gaeltacht schools and Scoileanna Lán Gaeilge.
