NPC has been working on your behalf making submissions, attending meetings, ensuring the voices of parents of primary school children are being heard

NPC made representation at the following:

• A Standing Group conference on Education in Zagreb. NPC was invited by the Department of Education and Skills Inspectorate to attend with the Inspectorate as a key stakeholder
• Partnership Schools Ireland Principals' Information sessions in Athlone & Drumcondra
• The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA)
• A Working Group meeting on reviewing the existing Governance Manual for Primary Schools
• A meeting with the Genesis Programme - a consortium made up of Partner Organisations including the Early Learning & Care Centres, Schools, Community Groups etc
• A meeting with the County Childcare Committee National Chairperson

Also on your behalf, NPC:

• Held a Regional Assembly event in Portlaoise looking at the issue of 'Technology in Education: Preparing Children for the Future'.
• Held an information session on Internet Safety at Virgin Media
• Attended a Launch of Webwise HTML Heros: An introduction to the Internet
• Attended a Launch of Sexual Health and Wellbeing Strategy
